Front hallway, Jones Library, undated
This is the front hallway of the Jones Library before the renovation of the early 1990s. If you walked straight through the back window you would be walking right past the current circulation desk.

This undated photograph shows construction of a sidewalk along South Pleasant Street at a time when Amherst residents used a horse-drawn carriage or the trolley to get to town.

Burnett Gallery, 1969
This room is the previous Burnett Gallery. It is now home to the Cataloging Department at the Jones. The doorway at back is gone but a reminder of this entrance can still be seen in the "stairs that go nowhere" in the current Burnett Gallery.
