Pen and ink drawing of the world map from Gulliver's travels. Numbered notes on drawing correspond to locations on the map. 1) Lilliputia, as described in the book, would be in southern Australia. 2) This was about where Gulliver came to land in Brobdingnag. 3) Laputa and the kingdom of which it was a part was located just south of the Aleutian Islands. 4) The country of the Houyhnhnms was off the south coast of Australia and Jamaica.
