Description
An advertising billboard reading: "PFEIFFER LUMBER Co. OPPOSITE DEPOT." The billboard shows a person on a small wagon looking at a billboard reading: "WE GIVE BETTER LUMBER AT THE SAME PRICE OR EQUAL GRADES AT A LOWER PRICE." A second billboard reads: "HIGHEST PRICE PAID FOR HIDES FURS VEAL POULTRY & PELTS FOR SALE LIME HAIR CEMENT & STUCCO L. BLACK DURAND WIS." A cutout of a woman is on the left holding a suitcase reading: "MEET ME AT PATTON'S GOLDEN RULE." Other advertising is nailed to a tree and town buildings are visible in the background on the far shore of a river.
