Description
The trunk of a large elm tree with a sign claiming it is the largest elm in the United States at the age of 250 (in 1910), and with a height of 97 ft., spread of 147 ft., and circumference of 26.5 ft. Anna Johnson stands at the trunk reading a book. A line of trees is on the left with some houses partly visible behind the elm.
