Description
A two-story house stands surrounded by a stone wall with other farm buildings behind it. Trees, mostly bare, surround the buildings. A field can be seen in the foreground. The inscription on the back of the photograph: "The Old Mans, home of Emerson's grandfather when the battle was fought at Concord Bridge, and later of Hawthorne.
