Description
A woman and two boys (possibly Margaret C. Johnson, wife of Roger Johnson, and her two sons Stephen and Charles) looking down into the stream at the site of an old mill. A large section of the mill lies on the ground in the right foreground. Woods grow on the other side of the stream. The mill was near the Conkey Tavern frequented by Daniel Shays.
