Acknowledgements

I started this digital exhibit on Robert Francis as an extra project during my 502 Capstone internship as a Simmons graduate student. As I designed and wrote - and then re-designed and re-wrote - the exhibit, I came to realize that Francis wasn't the simple, humble man I thought he was. He lived a very full life, more complex than I think even he realized, and it is my hope that the exhibit highlights the things that make Robert Francis so different and interesting.

I would like to thank Jones Library Special Collections Curator Cynthia Harbeson for her invaluable input, guidance, support, and enthusiasm as the exhibit came togther. I would also like to thank Special Collections Assistant Kate Boyle for her assistance with scanning images.
